Mini & Midi Masterpieces

Mini Masterpieces (ages 5-10) & Midi Masterpieces (ages 11-16) are weekly creative classes, where young artists experiment with different materials, discover inspiring classical artists and develop confidence through creative expression.
Classical art can have a profound and lasting impact on kids’ cognitive, emotional, and social development. Combined with classical music playing in the background, the brain absorbs, interprets, and organizes new information more effectively. In addition to discussing classical artists and the stories behind many of their works, we familiarize the kids with the names of the musical pieces they’re listening to as well.
In the periphery, we reference a few lines of some of the greatest poetry written, encouraging kids to rhyme some fun lines of their own - this engages the brain on another creative level and offers a road less traveled in teaching kids to love drawing.
By the end of the year, each student has built a personal gallery of their own work, and not only artistic skills, but also communication, critical thinking and problem solving skills and emotional intelligence.
Block Printing
In this class, students discover one of the oldest printmaking techniques in the world, using carving tools and lino and wooden blocks. This will teach them to think in reverse, embrace imperfection, and create bold, expressive prints — each one truly unique.
The students will sketch a simple design and transfer it onto a block to begin carving. They develop patience, precision, and the joy of working with their hands.
Students ink their carved block, transfer it onto paper using a traditional book press, and then release it to reveal their print.

Perspective Drawing

A weekly 90 min drawing class — led by Nebojsa, architect and drawing enthusiast, this class introduces students to one of the most powerful tools in visual art: perspective.
Through a technical yet free-hand sketch approach, students learn to see the world as artists and architects do — understanding space, depth, and proportion as the invisible grammar behind every great drawing.
No experience is needed — only their favorite pencil, a curiosity for space, and a desire to understand how the world is built.
